However, exploring these different sonic landscapes traditionally meant one thing: buying an entirely new amplifier or line-stage every time Kenneth Finalize a new tube engineering design to its optimum performance.

The catalyst for a revolution came directly from the listening room. Kenneth’s VIP clients—many of whom owned reference-grade audio systems valued in the hundreds of thousands of dollars—were constantly acquiring his latest creations. Yet, they shared a common frustration: they wanted a sustainable upgrade path. They wanted the freedom to experience a new tube’s distinct performance, signature and voice without having to replace their entire system.

This demand for versatility was echoing across the industry. Prestigious European hifi audio brands began approaching Kenneth, requesting his bespoke amplifier designs as OEM modules to integrate into their own flagship hifi audio electronics.

The final spark of inspiration arrived from an entirely different discipline. During a conversation with his friend Damir H., an IT professional, they discussed the highly adaptable, hot-swappable nature of enterprise mainframe servers to be applied in audio world. That cross-pollination of ideas led to a radical breakthrough in audio engineering which he requested Kenneth to design it for possible licensed usage.

The result is the defining hallmark of Elysium Labs: The Modular Tube Voltage Amplification Stage (VAS).
