By default, the Apex Supreme pre-amplifier ships with the legendary Giscours Tube VAS Module, utilizing the exquisite 6aw8a tube. However, your journey does not end there. Driven by Kenneth’s 25 years of research cataloging over a thousand vacuum tube circuit designs, Elysium Labs has engineered over 100 distinct tube modules to be released gradually. This futuristic architecture grants you the unprecedented luxury of changing your system’s harmonic profile to match your exact musical mood. Three-Stage Cascade Voltage Buffer
The Apex Supreme’s power supply is fine-tuned using high-sampling-rate, Long FFT Length audio spectrum analysers, perfected by hours of critical human listening. It is engineered to swing effortlessly with the timing of the music while maintaining absolute authority and noise control.
Noise is systematically eradicated through our proprietary Three Extreme Stage Cascaded Buffered Filtering design. Rather than choking the life out of the music, this cascading Voltage Buffer system ensures an incredibly clean DC supply with a spectacular signal-to-noise ratio. The Telefunken Heartbeat: The power supply features the iconic, historical Telefunken Big Mesh Plate RGN1064 rectifier. Selected after exhaustive testing as the most evocative rectifier under 100mA, its unique mesh-plate architecture provides flawless heat dissipation, extreme stability, and an unbeatably low noise floor that lets music sound raw, lively, and unhindered.

Many tube audio amplification engineering often relies on conventional resistor loaded anode-follower old technology which introduces harsh, fatiguing artifacts from 3rd Order Harmonics and horrible intermodulation distortion that destroying signal purity as well as masking the 2nd Order Pleasant Harmonics of the Tube.
The Apex Supreme series high fidelity tube preamp employs a proprietary, high-tech topology designed to completely flatten the load-line of the Tube Bias. The result is a historical milestone in tube engineering: the highly linear 3rd Harmonic distortion is suppressed to an vanishingly low -100dBr (<0.001%). This also to ensure completely clean of intermodulation distortion and any other artifacts.
